SSO: Resource Room,Resident & Physician Lounges

Monday, February 22, 2010 at 5:06:57 PM

Effective the week of March 8, 2010, the PCs in the Resource Room, Resident Lounges, and Physician Lounges (1st floor physician lounges at BGH & Wilson only) will have Single Sign-On installed on them. Therefore, all Providers, Residents, and Medical Students must use their Single Sign-On user name and password to access those PCs. The generic log-on "Resident" will no longer be active.

Also, going forward any other PCs in the hospital clinics that currently have the generic log-on "Resident" will be assigned a PC specific generic account until SSO is installed.
Single Sign-On naming conventions:
Providers: letter P followed by your 6 digit provider number, same as your physician view username (i.e. P _ _ _ _ _ _ ). However, a UHSH provider will use his/her LAN Account for SSO.
Residents: letter P followed by your 6 digit provider number, same as your physician view username (i.e. P _ _ _ _ _ _ ).
Medical Students: letters MS followed by your username for physician view (i.e. MS _ _ _ _ _ _).

If you need assistance or would like a review of SSO again, please contact Renee Masciarelli at 763-6439 or Clinical Systems at 763-6499.
Thank you.
