TO ALL UHS RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENTS AND PACS SYSTEM USERS:
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF THE PACS SYSTEM REQUIRES EVERY SERVER TO BE REBOOTED. THE REBOOT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, MARCH 23rd at 5:00pm.
DURING THIS TIME YOU WILL EXPERIENCE MOMENTARY INTERRUPTIONS IN PACS FUNCTIONALITY.

IT IS EXPECTED THE REBOOTS WILL BE COMPLETED WITHIN 3 HOURS. During this time users will experience brief interruptions in PACS services as the individual servers are rebooted.

PACS functions will generally be available, but the user may experience momentary interruptions in functionality including: * Sending new studies to PACS * Scanning documents into a study. * Viewing any study currently on PACS * Creating On-line preliminary reports * Web Servers access and display

If you encounter interruption while engaged in sending images, scanning documents or creating prelims you should try to re-do your action after server restarts.

ONCE THE SERVER HAS COME BACK ONLINE, YOU MAY HAVE TO LOG-OUT AND LOG BACK INTO PACS. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO REBOOT THE WORKSTATIONS. NO OTHER SYSTEMS WILL BE AFFECTED. a. Orders will still be placed as normal b. RMS will be up...you must manually track your exams through the End Procedure step

NOTE: The webserver will be down from 5:00PM to 6:00PM, while we update the hardware on our webservers.
