Southern Tier Health Link Update

Southern Tier HealthLink’s (STHL) consent acquisition campaign is in full swing. Again, this is to enable patients’ electronic health information to be shared among STHL stakeholders. On March 1st, all remaining UMA practices began collecting STHL patient consent forms. Forms are also now being collected at Our Lady of Lourdes Central Registration. We are maintaining our 92% “allow” rate among completed forms for patients to have their records shared electronically via the STHL Health Information Exchange (HIE). The next sites in STHL’s consent campaign include central registration at Binghamton General, Wilson Memorial and Chenango Memorial Hospitals, as well as an expansion of the roll out at Lourdes Hospital’s primary care network, and other practices. STHL currently processes about 2,000 forms a week. We’re well on our way!
