To complete the final steps of the data migration to the new on line storage all PACS Servers need to have the PACS processes stopped and started.
The interruption is planned for Tuesday, January 25th 2011 beginning at 6:00pm with an estimated completion time of 7:00pm.
During this process users will experience brief interruptions in PACS services as each servers processes are stopped and restarted.
PACS functions will be generally available, but the user may experience momentary interruptions in functionality including: Sending new studies to PACS, Studies on modality worklist, Scanning documents into a study, Viewing any study currently on PACS, Creating On-line preliminary reports, Web Servers access and display, and Logging into PACS.
If you encounter interruption while trying to send images, scanning documents or creating prelims or any other PACS functions you should wait a few minutes and re-try that function again.
ONCE THE SERVICES ARE RESTARTED USERS MAY HAVE TO LOG-OUT AND LOG BACK INTO PACS. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO REBOOT THE WORKSTATIONS
Thank you for your patience during these brief interruptions. If you have any questions please contact the PACS Office at (607) 763-5737.
