Southern Tier HealthLink and the New York eHealth Collaborative (NyeC) are sponsoring a day long Summit on Electronic Healthcare Records and Meaningful Use on April 29 at Traditions at the Glen in Johnson City. The Summit is targeted at both providers who are considering changing from a paper-based records practice to electronics, plus those providers who have made the change to EHRs and are working toward Meaningful Use and the sizeable federal government incentives (potentially from over $40,000 to more than $60,000 per provider). EHR vendors will be available to discuss their products and services during session breaks.
The event will run from 7:30 breakfast through 3:00 pm on April 29. Presentations will be on several tracks depending on the attendees’ individual situation with EHR adoption, and will feature local, state and regional US experts.
