The external web server for PACS is now functional in a "LIMITED CAPACITY". It is presently able to run utilizing one of its two cpu's. What this means to users is: You can now access studies via the web server, but may experience slowness in the functionality or image display especially if utilization is high or the study is large.
HP is scheduled to come back today, January 3, 2008 to replace the faulty 2nd cpu. The server must be taken offline for them to replace this hardware. They are tentatively scheduled to be here at 12:30 PM at which time the server will be shut down in order to fix it completely. The total downtime of this webserver is expected to be no longer than one hour, likely less.
