Compression Stocking Recommendations

UHSH has engaged Wellspring Consultants to work on some cost savings measures. One of these which has been well researched is the use of knee-length compression stockings rather than thigh-length. There is no proven clinical difference in the two types, but knee-length have better compliance, ease of use, and save costs. The Medical Executive Committee voted to make knee-length the default for pre-printed orders.
